Pranburi Walking Street is a new walking street located in Pranburi Old Market, which the Pranburi local still maintain for its old style market which has lasted for more than 200 years. In the past, this area was a very prosperous trade community since the railway opened, Pranburi Station. Later, the prosperity decreased when the Petchakasem Road was cut through it. The villagers and the government moved to live on the roadside and it became a new community. This made the old community stagnate.

Today, Pranburi Old Market or the old town has been renovated and revived with glorious atmosphere of Pranburi old town, becoming a tourist attraction as the walking street market area near Pranburi Railway Station which opens on every Saturday. Finally, Pranburi 200 Years Market or Pranburi Walking Street became a bustling tourist attraction where visitors can have a sightseeing of the old houses with many decorations. In addition, visitors can also look around the shops and have a variety of food and desserts from the food stalls.

Pranburi Walking Street consists of two-storey wooden houses with a 200-year-old market. When we visit this place, we can experience the retro atmosphere of the ancient market. Apart from the charm of its antiquity, the food here is also great. There are many traditional desserts which people may not know before such as snacks called Leum Kluen, Rangrae, Raerai, Kratong Thong, Mung Bean Rice-Crepe, Poorman Pancakes, Steamed Rice-Skin Dumplings, or other delicious food such as Miang Kham, Sticky Rice Dumplings, Jab Mai, Fishcake, Chinese Roll Noodle Soup, Fish Maw Soup, etc. Some are wrapped with banana leaves and some are lotus leaves. Some are made into tiny pieces and they are not expensive.
